So if you have to do this to close the door it means the sensor is malfunctioning.
The garage door opens fine.
The transmitters remotes will not work to close the garage door.

Go to the door control take the door control off the wall by popping off the push button.

To get it to close i have to hold the button in until it gets to the bottom.
Any transmitter like a handheld clicker.
If i push the button to close it the light flashes and it comes back up.
